When enterprises purchase electric forklifts for warehouse logistics, port handling or factory internal material transfer scenarios, complete compliance documents provided by suppliers are core prerequisites to ensure that the equipment meets regulatory requirements, runs stably and avoids unnecessary operational risks.
First, mandatory safety compliance certification documents are the primary materials that suppliers shall submit. These documents include official type test reports issued by qualified third-party testing institutions, which verify that the whole vehicle, load-bearing structure, braking system, steering system and lifting mechanism all meet current national and industrial safety standards for industrial handling equipment. Suppliers also need to provide the whole vehicle production compliance certificate, to prove the product is manufactured in line with regulated production processes and passes full item ex-factory inspection. These materials are also necessary for subsequent annual safety inspection of special equipment in many regions.
Second, environmental and power system related compliance documents are also required for electric forklift products. Suppliers shall provide official energy consumption test reports, battery safety certification documents, and zero-emission compliance statements that confirm the equipment will not produce harmful exhaust gas during operation, which fits the access requirements of closed working scenarios such as indoor storage, food processing workshops and pharmaceutical production sites. Relevant parameters of the power battery pack, such as cycle life and overheat protection performance test results, are also included in this part of documents.
Third, quality guarantee and after-sales related compliance documents are essential to protect the legitimate rights and interests of buyers. Suppliers need to issue formal product quality warranty statement in written form, which clearly defines the warranty scope, warranty period, free maintenance items and non-guaranteed fault clauses. They also need to provide the complete product conformity certificate and main component traceability list, to help buyers clarify the configuration standard of the purchased equipment and avoid configuration mismatch problems in actual use.
Fourth, operation and management supporting documents shall also be provided to buyers. These documents cover the official standard operation manual of the electric forklift, regular maintenance guidance specification, and product liability insurance valid certificate. Some qualified suppliers will also provide standardized operation training materials for on-site operators to reduce improper operation faults.
Checking all these compliance documents carefully before signing the procurement contract can effectively reduce hidden risks in equipment use, and ensure the electric forklift can create stable value for daily material handling work.
